The Champlain Club’s Mission:

A vibrant home to share, learn, and connect through the arts, dance, music and other events.

We’re a nonprofit community space in Burlington’s Old North End for performances, dances, rehearsals, trainings, meetings, socializing, games, celebrations and events, and more, established in 1903. The building is home to one of the few remaining wood-floor ballrooms in Burlington.

Community groups and individuals use our dance hall, meeting rooms, and kitchen for activities and events, in a low-cost rental arrangement. Members of the Champlain Club share responsibilities for the care and maintenance of the building and grounds.

We Want YOU! Join our Board, or Help Out on a Committee

We’re fast approaching our annual meeting (January, 2023) and would love to have YOU join our board of directors! Want to find out more? Start here.

Seeking a New Name for our Beloved Champlain Club

The Board has decided to retire the “Champlain Club” name. We’re looking for a new inclusive / descriptive / inspiring name to better represent our mission. Submit your ideas here for a name for our beloved space! A committee will be considering submissions early in December, and the Board will vote at the Annual Meeting on January 12, 2023.
